What is Tai Chi?

Tai Chi is an ancient martial art recognized by Harvard Medical School as one of the safest weight bearing exercises.  For the purposes of mental health, Tai Chi  is a known walking meditation that integrates both mind and body. Tai Chi is has been shown to improve flexibility, balance, and mental welll-being.

Time: 10:00AM - 11:00AM


Wear comfy clothes that you can move comfortably in and some water. This class is geared towards beginners. We will begin class with a gentle warm up, followed by the Qigong 8 Brocades, and using the remaining class to breakup the Tai Chi 24 Form. No martial arts experience or prior Tai Chi experience is required.

Cost: FREE

Time: 9:30AM - 10:30AM


This is an outdoor venue, a hat and/or sunscreen are recommended. Instructors alternate in leading the class. Class begins with a gentle warm-up, followed by the 8 Brocades Qigong, then moving thought the Tai Chi 24 Form. The class is broken up into fundamentals of Tai Chi and Intermediate, as well as, occasionally some weapons training. I the last 10 minutes, everyone will come together to move through the form together in silence.
